The Conservation Warden is responsible for enforcing the Lac Courte Oreilles Tribal Conservation Codes on lands and waters within the exterior boundaries of the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation. This position protects natural resources, monitors hunting and fishing activities, conducts investigations, issues permits and citations, and serves as a liaison between the Conservation Department, Tribal Members, and the public. The Conservation Warden plays a vital role in preserving Tribal resources while promoting conservation awareness and public safety.
