Grants Director

The Grants Director is responsible for leading the Grants Department and overseeing the development of grant applications, project plans, budgets, and funding strategies that support essential government programs and services. This position supervises grant staff, collaborates with Tribal leadershiop and departments, and serves as a key resource for planning, research, and community development initiatives. The Grants Director plays a vital role in securing funding opportunities that enhance the social and economic well-being of the reservation community.
- Lead and supervise Grants Department operations and staff
- Research, develop, and submit competitive grant applications
- Prepare project budgets, supporting documents, and funding proposals
- Collaborate with Tribal departments on planning and strategic initiatives
- Analyze data, prepare reports, and support grant implementation activities
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred
- Six (6) years of related professional experience preferred
- Strong grant writing, research, and budget development skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and online grant management systems
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background and drug screening requirements
