Lac Courte Oreilles Domestic Violence Program/Shelters mission to provide a safe and healing environment for individuals and families in crisis intervention situations. Individual(s) will receive assistance from staff and volunteers in a protective and heathy setting.
Oakwood Haven is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We have staff that are ready to help at any time. Our staff are all crossed-trained and can assist with domestic abuse/sexual assault crisis intervention, restraining orders, transporation and can provide victims with a short-term crisis shelter. There is also a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) available to assist in finding information on referrals and resources and can assist in developing a safety plan.
