INCOME MAINTENANCE

We, the Anishinabeg, the people of Odaawaa-Zaaga’iganiing, the Lac Courte Oreilles Band, will sustain our heritage, preserving our past, strengthening our present, and embracing our future. We will defend our inherent sovereign rights and safeguard Mother Earth. We will provide for the educational, health, social welfare, and economic stability of the present and future generations.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Income Maintenance Programs are state funded to administer Food Share, Badger Care Plus and Medicaid, or Elderly, Blind, and Disabled programs. LCO Income Maintenance Program serves families on the reservation and any Native American family residing in Sawyer County

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Applications must be filled out for services

  • Must be enrolled in a federally recognized tribe

  • Does not have sufficient resources to meet the essential need items as defined by the BIA's standards of assistance

  • The applicant must reside within the boundaries of the Lac Courte Reservation at all times.
