Vocational Rehabilitation Job Developer/Transition Specialist

The Job Developer/Transition Specialist helps individuals with disabilites prepare for and obtain meaningful employment. This position works with local employers, schools, and community partners to support career development, job placement, and successful school-to-work transitions.
- Assist consumers with career exploration, resumes, interviews, and job search activities
- Develop employment opportunities and maintain relationships with local employers
- Support transition-aged students with employment, training, and educatiuon planning
- Coordinate job placements, work-based learning, and on-the-job training opportunities
- Conduct program outreach, orientations, and community presentations
- Maintain case documentation, progress reports, and program compliance requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Counseling, or related field preferred
- Two (2) years of experience in employment services, counseling, job placement, or disability services
- Knowledge of vocational rehabilitation services and community resources
- Strong communication, networking, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass background and scrug screening requirements
