Kitchen Utility

The Kitchen Utility team member provides support throughout the kitchen while helping maintain the highest standards of food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation. This position assists with food preparation, dishwashing, workstation setup, kitchen cleaning, and general kitchen operations to ensure an efficient and safe working environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, team-oriented, and committed to delivering quality service while supporting restaurant and banquet operations.
- Prepare workstations and equipment for daily food service operations
- Maintain proper sanitation standards, including handwashing procedures, glove use, and food storage practices
- Assist with food preparation, cooking, portioning, and serving according to established standards
- Operate dishwashing equipment and ensure dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized properly
- Maintain clean and organized kitchen work areas throughout each shift
- Monitor kitchen equipment and report maintenance or operational concerns to supervisors
- Complete assigned cleaning duties and sanitation checklists
- Support kitchen staff and demonstrate teamwork while meeting quality and service expectations
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Ability to follow directions and complete assigned tasks
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain professional appearance and good personal hygiene standards
- Flexible schedule and ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 40 pounds and remain standing or walking for extended periods
