Financial Assistant

The Financial Assistant supports the financial operations of the Club by assisting with bookkeeping, financial reporting, grant compliance, and administrative functions. This position helps ensure accurate financial tracking, responsible stewardship of funds, and compliance with grant and funding requirements that support youth programs and organizational sustainability.
- Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, reimbursements, and day-to-day financial transactions
- Process invoices, maintain financial records, and support payroll preparation activities
- Enter financial data into accounting software and assist with reconciliations
- Support budget tracking, grant monitoring, and monthly financial reporting
- Maintain organized records for audits, grants, and compliance requirements
- Assist with preparation of reports for funders leadership, and the Board of Directors
- Provide administrative support and maintain confidentiality of all financial and personnel information
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree an nonprofit accounting experience preferred
- Basic understanding of accounting or bookkeeping principles
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity when handling financial information
- Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check
