Facility Assistant

The Facility Assistant helps maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment that supports youth programming, staff operations, and community events.This position plays an important role in ensuring Club facilities reflect the values of respect, responsibility, and care while providing youth with safe places to learn, grow, and connect with their culture.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of buildings, classrooms, restrooms, and outdoor areas
- Assist with setup and cleanup for youth programs, cultural activities, and community events
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and report larger repair needs
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, tools, an equipment
- Support building security, opening and closing procedures, and facility readiness
- Follow health and safety standards established by the Club and the Lac Courte Oreilles community
- Help maintain safe, welcoming spaces that support youth, families, staff, and community programs
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in maintenance, custodial work, or facility preferred
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, bending, standing, and moving equipment
- Familiarity with cleaning methods, maintenance equipment, and safety procedures
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Valid driver’s license
