Director of Realty

The Director of Realty of responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Realty Department and supporting the management of the Tribal land and realty programs. This leadership position supervises department staff, coordinates workflow across Tribal departments and outside agencies, manages departmental resources, and helps ensure compliance with Tribal policies and realty program requirements. The Director plays a key role in maintaining efficient operations while supporting long-term land management goals for the Tribe.
- Supervise daily Realty Department operations and provide leadership and oversight for staff
- Develop, review, and improve departmental policies, procedures, and operational practices
- Coordinate workflow and projects between the Realty Department, Tribal departments, and external agencies
- Maintain staff knowledge, training requirements, certifications, and available program resources
- Work closely with Accounting, Compliance, and Management departments to monitor and maintain the Realty budget
- Prepare reports, correspondence, memoranda, and other administrative documents
- Monitor department needs and implement solutions that improve efficiency and service delivery
- Ensure confidentiality of records, transactions, and departmental activities
- Perform additional duties as assigned in support of Division of Land Management operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field; a combination of education and experience may be considered
- Experience with TAAMS or the ability to obtain TAAMS access and required training
- Strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office equipment
- Commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and excellent customer service
- Ability to travel as needed
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
