The Emergency Shelter Support Staff provides direct, on-site support to individuals and families accessing emergency and temporary shelter services. This position assists with admissions, guest monitoring, documentation, safety checks, and daily shelter operations. Support Staff help maintain a safe, respectful, and trauma-informed environment that follows Tribal codes, Indian Health Service standards, and shelter policies. This role is essential to maintaining 24/7 shelter coverage and serves as the primary point of contact for guests during assigned shifts.
