PRN Laboratory Technician
*Tribal preference will apply to qualified applicants in accordance with the Lac Courte Oreilles Policies & Procedures Manual, consistent with federal Indian preference requirements.
The PRN Laboratory Technician position perform’s phlebotomy, laboratory testing, specimen prodessing, and quality control procedures while supporting quality patient care and laboratory compliance standards.
- Perfom blood collection, specimen processing, and rapid tsting procedures
- Conduct routine laboratory testing in hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, and serology
- Maintain quality control and compliance with laboratory standards
- Accession specimens and accurately enter results into the Laboratory Information System (LIS)
- Follow infection control, safety, and biohazard handling procedures
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma
- Associate degree in a medical field preferred
- Phlebotomy certification preferred
- Strong computer skills and ability to work independently
- Must possess a background check, drug screening, and possess a valid Wisconsin driver’s license
