Beading Circle 5:45 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (Courtney Miller)

→ Did you know Naloxone Nasal Spray can help reverse an opioid overdose within 2-3 minutes?
→ Do you know the signs of someone who may be overdosing?
→ Did you know overdoses can happen to someone who is not aware they have taken an opioid?

Anyone 18 years of age or older are welcome to attend these very important trainings. You will receive valuable information and a free drug response kit. The kit contains Naloxone spray, disposable gloves, face mask and sanitary wipes. We also have Deterra, which is used to detoxify any medication in your home that you would like to dispose of in a safe way. Come in and learn about the 24-hour hot line called “Safe Spot.” They are trained to talk with you during active drug use and will call emergency services in the event you may be overdosing.

After the Naloxone trainings, we will gather for a beading circle taught by local native crafters. i.e., earrings, lanyards, applique, tobacco bags, etc. All supplies are provided for the beading circles.

A light snack and water will be available during class, so please plan accordingly.

Follow us on the Bizhiki Wellness FACEBOOK page for updated scheduling of the Naloxone trainings and beading circles. I am also available to do off-site training at your office, home, business, vendor events, etc.
