Human Resources Manager

The Human Resources Manager provides leadership and oversight for all HR functions at Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe University. This position supports recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, policy development, and compliance while helping strengthen organizational culture and workforce success.
- Oversee recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and employee relations
- Administrator benefits, compensation, and performance evaluation processes
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and Universty policies
- Advise leadership on workforce planning and HR strategy
- Coordinate employee training, investigations and policy updates
- Supervise the HR Assistant and support organizational development effort
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of HR experience
- Strong analytical, organizational, and computer skills
- Knowledge of employment laws, HR practices, and employee relations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities
