The Director of Social & Community Services leads the planning, development, and delivery of programs that enhance the well-being and quality of life for individuals and families in the Tribal community. This leadership role oversees program managers, manages budgets, ensures compliance, and drives initiatives aligned with organizational and community needs.
Responsibilities
Supervise and support Social & Community Services program managers
Oversee program operations, budgets, and compliance with standards
Lead strategic planning, data analysis, and quality assurance
Coordinate with tribal, public, and private service programs
Advise executive leadership and represent the division in the community
Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and annual reports
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Health Care Administration, or Business Administration required
Five years’ experience in Tribal Government or tribal services with progressive management responsibilities
Experience in community organization, grant writing, supervision, and policy development
Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
