Helping families navigate the journey of dementia with a new topic each month! Dementia Care Specialists: focus on different aspects of care to create understanding and help in planning for the best possible outcomes. Listen in a WRLS's Lifestyles North - 92.3 FM the last Tuesday of every month at 8:30am. Each month we will review steps along the way: Dementia: What type, how, and why to get a diagnosis? Communication: What and how do caregivers' approach, speak, and connect with their loved ones to make it easier for all involved? Planning: How to organize for the long journey? What is an why complete Powers of Attorney for health and finances? How to plan for the future for all people involved? Safety: How do I help my loved one stay at home as long as possible?
