Tribal Fiscal Update Provided By LCO Interim CFO

Home FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASEDate: May 9, 2025 Tribal Fiscal Update Provided By LCO Interim Chief Financial Officer Fiscal Year(FY) 2024 Audit The Tribal Governing Board met yesterday with Josh Trujillo of SJT Auditing Group whom performs the Tribes Special Revenue Audit with much improvements shared by the firm: Audit will be submitted timely prior to June 30, 2025 At least 2 possibly 3 of the 4 findings from the previous year have been resolved No new audit findings Clinic Projects The Health Center Director, Finance team, the Chief Financial Officer, and available TGB members met to discuss budget  strategies moving  forward for the new Clinic: Currently Negotiating 105(l) lease with IHS to cover maintenance costs and include the loan repayment for the new clinic Researching the feasibility of acquiring a mobile dialysis unit Discussing the construction and operation of an assisted living facility. Boxes can be picked up at: 9026 Round Lake School Road, Hayward, WI 54843 PLEASE NOTE: Food provided is for Tribal members 55 years and older. This project is funded by an Intertribal Local Food Purchasing Assistance grant and funding awarded through the Wisconsin Biennial Budget.
