The Oshki-ojibwemowag Lead Instructor is responsible for leading, delivering, and safeguarding the integrity
of full-time Ojibwe language immersion instruction within the Oshki-ojibwemowag program. This position
serves as the primary language authority for adult language learners and ensures cultural, linguistic, and
pedagogical excellence. The Lead Instructor plays a central role in rebuilding a critical mass of highly proficient
Ojibwe speakers through intensive immersion, mentorship, curriculum development, and intergenerational
knowledge transfer.
