Content Creator

The Content Creator plans and produces Ojibwe language and cultural media for the Language and Culture Division. This position manages promotional content and social media while supporting cummunity programming, research, and public outreach. Applicants must submit a writing sample in electronic formation to the HR Director.
- Manage the Division’s social media platforms and promotional content
- Produce content for radio, podcasts, online learning, newsletters, and the website
- Organize, train, and co-supervise audio/video interns
- Support Language & Culture programming, meetings, and community activities
- Conduct research and prepare reports and public information materials
- Collaborate with Tribal departments and community partners on language and cultural initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media, or a related field preferred
- Three years of professional experience in a Tribal community
- Experience developing media and managing complex projects
- Technology and audio/video editing skills
- Desire to develop working proficiency in Ojibwemowin
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check and drug screening
