On April 1, 2025, local and state elections will take place, providing voters the opportunity to elect representatives to key positions. Races will include seats on local school boards, city and town boards, as well as positions for State Superintendent of Public Instruction and State Supreme Court Judge. 

The following open seats will be contested in the 2025 local and state spring election:

  • Superintendent of Public Instruction

    Brittany Kinser and Jill Underly (incumbent)

  • State Supreme Court Justice

    Brad Schimel and Susan Crawford

  • Bass Lake Town Board

    James B Marucha and Justin Hall (incumbent)

  • Hayward Town Board

    Chairperson: John R Froemel and Stacy Hessel
    Supervisor (select up to 2): David T Farley, John R Froemel, and Travis Butterfield

  • Hunter Town Board

    Supervisor (select up to 2): Barbara Czarnnecki, Kyle Cummings, Jeff Wolf, and Tim Davison

  • Lenroot Town Board

    Chairperson: Gordon Christians (incumbent) and Ronald Poppe

  • Round Lake Town Board

    Supervisor (select up to 2): Kay Wilson (incumbent), Darien Jensen, and Daniel Palmer (incumbent)

  • Sand Lake

    Supervisor 1: Michael Rossio (incumbent) and Edgar J Gregory
    Clerk: Debra Henk and Elaine Nyberg (incumbent)

  • Spider Lake Town Board

    Chairperson: Quentin Johnson and Greg Kalscheur
    Supervisor (select up to 2): Bruce Van Fleet, Mark Johns, and Sarah Delaney (incumbent)
