The Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe Public Broadcasting Corporation is seeking two (2) individuals to serve on the WOJB Board of Directors. Board members help guide the organization’s mission of providing communication and broadcasting services to the people of the LCO area. This is an opportunity to contribute leadership, expertise, and vision that supports the future growth and success of community broadcasting.
- Provide leadership and strategic direction for WOJB
- Support the mission and long-term goals of the organization
- Participate in board meetings and governance activities
- Assist with organizational planning and decision-making
- Advocate for community communication and broadcasting services
- Interest in the future of WOJB and the OPBC
- Knowledge of fundraising or development practices preferred
- Experience with organizational planning preferred
- Background in radio broadcasting or information technology beneficial
- Knowledge of legal matters or governance practices beneficial
