We, the Anishinabeg, the people of Odaawaa-Zaaga’iganiing, the Lac Courte Oreilles Band, will sustain our heritage, preserving our past, strengthening our present, and embracing our future. We will defend our inherent sovereign rights and safeguard Mother Earth. We will provide for the educational, health, social welfare, and economic stability of the present and future generations.
The EndazhiNoojimong Men’s Sober Living Facility offers a safe and culturally inclusive environment for Native American men and other individuals seeking recovery from substance abuse. Our facility accomodates 13 beds for clients who have received a substance use diagnosis within the last five years and have been medically cleared.
We are dedicated to nurturing community, healing, and personal empowerment through both modern recovery models and the wisdom of traditional Native processes.
At EndazhiNoojimong, we are deeply rooted in Native American values of community, respect, and healing. We operate with integrity, uphold the rights of our residents, and foster within the home. Through the social model of recovery, which emphasizes peer learning, we incorporate traditional cultural practices to help residents heal holistically.
We honor and incorporate Native American traditions and practices into our recovery programming, allowing residents to reconnect with their cultural identity as part of their healing process.
Incorporating Native American cultural practices with modern recovery strategies, we provide an atmosphere of respect, mutual learning, and empowerment. Residents not only benefit from peer support but also from engaging in traditional ceremonies and healing practices that deepen their connection to their cultural roots. Courtesy rules within the resident ensure respectful, peaceful relationships within the home and with the surrounding community.
Out committment to resident rights is reflected in the display of our code of ethics, grievance procedure, and grievance contact information within the residence. We maintain transparency and encourage residents to share their concerns, knowing they will be heard and addressed fairly.
