May is American Wetlands Month!
In honor of our wetlands a video collaboration between LCO Conservation and the Wisconsin Wetland Association (WWA) has been released to the public.
It’s titled “ Sustaining Our Heritage: Caring for the Wetlands of the Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Lake Superior Ojibwe.”
The video tells the story of Post and our manoomin beds and is available to watch on Vimeo, along with the past videos done by Wisconsin tribes and WWA (click the links below):
