Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe School Girls 4x100 Relay Team Captured Northern Lights Conference Championship

Lac Courte Oreilles, Wis. – On May 19, 2025, the Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe School (LCOOS) hosted the Northern Lights Conference Championship Track Meet for the first time in Ashland, WI and left as champions.

“Our Athletic Director (AD) Dion Doyle and Assistant AD Noah LeBlanc did a tremendous job planning and coordinating the meet.

Thanks to our  phenomenal coaches Katie Hecker, Cody Carley, Jason Bisonette, and Zach Rajala, our athletes are seeing more and more success,” said Superintendent Jessica Hutchison.

The Girls 4×100 relay team seized the title of Conference Champions. Congratulations to Blaire Dishaw, Day Quagon, Peyton Corbine, and Aaliyah Alexander!
